Government & Public Sector

Gifting that reflects the gravity of public service.

Public service demands a particular standard — in conduct, in presentation, and in the details others might overlook. Capital Gifts partners with federal agencies, defense organizations, diplomatic institutions, and government contractors on gifting programs that meet that standard.

— Trusted by leading institutions worldwide —
— Who we serve —

Four sectors. One standard.

From civilian agencies to diplomatic missions, each corner of public service carries its own protocol and its own expectations. We calibrate every program to the institution in front of us.

01

Federal Agencies

Staff recognition, agency culture programs, interagency event merchandise, and leadership appreciation for civilian federal organizations.

02

Defense & Military

Service recognition, ceremony gifts, unit appreciation, and command-level presentation pieces for defense and military institutions.

03

Diplomatic Institutions

Protocol-compliant gifting for embassies, consulates, and diplomatic organizations — curated for bilateral meetings, cultural exchanges, and state occasions.

04

Government Contractors

Client appreciation, contract milestone recognition, BD gifting, and conference merchandise for firms operating at the federal level.

— Why Capital Gifts —

The product is only part of the assignment. Getting through building security, documenting where an item was made, working within value parameters, and understanding the protocol of the occasion matter just as much.

Three decades of bipartisan trust

Capital Gifts has supported gifting initiatives across Republican and Democratic administrations for more than 30 years — continuity that spans changes in party, staff, and priorities.

White-glove D.C. delivery

On-site drop-off across Washington, D.C. We coordinate venue and building access and deliver every item packaged and ready to distribute — no loading-dock guesswork.

Documented American-made sourcing

Not “probably domestic.” We identify and vet U.S. suppliers and document country of origin for every item — requirements met on paper, not just in principle.

Compliance-ready records

Itemized per-recipient valuations and program documentation structured for internal ethics and compliance review — the paperwork a catalog vendor simply doesn't produce.

— Where the work shows up —

Programs built around the occasion.

The occasions differ; the standard does not. A few of the moments public sector organizations bring to us most often.

Ceremonial gifts

State visits, bilateral meetings, diplomatic exchanges, and official presentations.

Agency recognition

Staff appreciation, retirement honors, and interagency event welcome gifts.

Contractor appreciation

Contract award recognition, client relationship gifts, and conference welcome kits.

Event merchandise

Conference welcome kits, leadership summits, and interagency gatherings.

Case study · Presidential gifting

Turning a signature style into a signature gift.

President Biden's aviators were one of his most recognizable personal signatures. When developing a gift for the President to present to diplomats and other officials, Capital Gifts saw an opportunity to turn that familiar detail into something personal.

We developed the concept and worked with one of only two U.S. sunglass manufacturers to bring it to life. The President's signature replaced the manufacturer's traditional mark on the lens and was etched inside the temple arm. A custom presentation box bearing the Presidential Seal and signature completed the gift.

The result was more than a customized product. It was a gift that could only have come from the person giving it.

The Idea

Turned one of the President's most recognizable personal signatures into a diplomatic gift.

Made in America

Produced in partnership with one of only two U.S. sunglass manufacturers.

Custom Throughout

Custom lens branding, interior arm etching, and bespoke presentation packaging.
